Privacy Policy
What personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Geowox ("Geowox", "we") operates www.geowox.com (the "Site"). The Site is a marketing website: it does not host an account system and does not ask you to submit personal information to read its content.
1Data we collect
We process personal data in two narrow situations:
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects a randomly generated identifier and basic interaction data: pages viewed, referrer, approximate location derived from your IP address, and device or browser information.
If you accept chat cookies and start a conversation through the Crisp widget, Crisp processes the content of your messages and any contact details (such as name or email) you choose to provide.
If you email us at support@geowox.com, we process the contents of that email to reply to you.
2Legal basis
For analytics and live chat, given through our cookie banner.
In handling direct email enquiries you send us.
3Third parties
We rely on the following processors:
Google Analytics 4 — aggregate visitor statistics.
Live chat widget — real-time conversations and message history.
These providers may transfer data outside the EEA. Where they do, they rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
4Retention
Analytics data is kept according to the default Google Analytics retention setting (up to 14 months). Chat transcripts are retained by Crisp until you or we delete them. Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry.
5Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase or port your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@geowox.com.
6Cookies
For the specific cookies we set and how to revoke consent, see our cookie policy.
7Changes
If we update this policy, the revised version will appear on this page with a new "last updated" date.
